Updating main machine to Ubuntu 9.04

The title says it all.

So far, downloading the 1.6gb of data… @ 150 kbps… no problems…
I know usually it is better to re-install the whole system instead of upgrading, but I need the machine to more or less work with all the software I got on it right now for the next weeks. I can re-install over the summer.
